I matriculated 1994 at Msobomvu High school in Butterworth. In 1995, I enrolled and completed both Baccalaureus Juris (B. Juris) and Baccalaureus Legum (L.L.B.) with University of Transkei (currently known as Walter Sisulu University).
In 1999, I worked in University of Transkei Law Clinic and in 2001, ceded my articles to Haarhoff, Fourier and Partners in Balfour Mpumalanga. In July 2004, joined the Office of the Public Protector: North West Province as an Investigator. In 2006 I moved to North West Department of Public Works as Assistant Director: Legal Services and in 2007, Deputy Director: Legal Services and Labour Relations. In 2011, I joined North West Department of Education and appointed Director: Legal Services in 2012.
In May 2013 I was admitted as Advocate and in 2018 I served pupilage with North West Bar Association and immediately took full membership with it.
I gained and developed skill and experience in civil litigation, government law, procurement law, administrative law, drafting of various legal documents and contracts and conducting legal research, drafting legal opinions, consulting with clients, disciplinary hearings and arbitrations, Labour Court and High Court appearances.
I also gained experience in developing investigation plans, conducting investigations, making findings and recommendations, drafting reports. I also gained valuable skills developing, reviewing, editing policies and procedure manuals, legislation and subordinate legislation.
